Re Lxuise

When I think about the influence Detroit Michigan has had in music the first thought that comes to mind is Motown. My next thought are legendary singers such as Anita Baker and Aaliyah. Detroit simply does not disappoint and Re Lxuise is the next soulful sound from this city. Re Lxuise has already made her mark in the music industry, with vocal appearances on albums from artist such as “Before the Quarter” Kelechi, “Mama” Phay, “Nobodies in Los Angeles” The Classmatez, Dread and “All Have Fallen” Elhae. The Re Lxuise interlude on “All Have Fallen” you really hear Re vocal control. She challenges herself while delivering beautiful lyrics to the listener ears. The beginning starts off very eary and then she comes on strong singing, “let’s build this kingdom together create the impossible with what we found”. Re this past September even had the opportunity to open up for Ro James. The crazy thing is we haven’t even started talking about her music yet. Re Lxuise is releasing an EP titled DM ME sometime in February. Her single “The One” was produced by not one but two grammy nomintated producers, Ayo and Keyz. This song comes at a great time because we need more songs that remind woman to know your worth and not to worry because if you know you’re the one then you have nothing to worry. That is what Re Lxuise music does it gives the listener a different experience. Her music can inspire and put you in your feelings all at the same time. Music has been in her from the start and has been influenced by artist such as Brandy, Stevie Wonder, Outkast, Tank and also Jodeci. Yet her biggest influence has been her Father. Her father has been playing keys for the the great singer Aretha Franklin and continues to tour with her to this day. Re Lxuise is signed to Dreamloud and her future in music looks bright, to find out more about her music check out her soundcloud and Instagram the link is below.
