Prominent R&B artist, B.Smyth dead at 28

#RIPBSMYTH trends as the death of well known Motown Artist B. Smyth is confirmed by his brother via an Instagram post.

B. Smyth’s fans are currently in shock due to the news of his passing at age 28. The “Twerkaholic” artist left a major impact on a budding generation. 

The brother of B. Smyth announced his death on Thursday, November 17th, 2022 in a heartfelt instagram post. He revealed Smyth died of Pulmonary Fibrosis and issued his gratitude to fans by saying, “On behalf of my brother and my family we want to say thank you to all of you for all of your love & support throughout the years.”

Denzil, brother of B. Smyth, went on to ask for privacy during this difficult time, but didn’t fail to mention the success of “Twerkaholic Pt.2,” truly warmed his brother’s heart while in ICU. 

B. Smyth released “Twerkaholic Pt. 2,” just three weeks ago and it instantly began to trend on Tik Tok. Fans made dances to the song to show their support. 

“He was able to have a smoother process… All the love and light you were sending on social media he really felt it and sunk into it,” Dynzell expressed in his video. 

Many fans took to social media with the #RIPBSMYTH after his brother penned, “ #RIPBSMYTH Love you bro!” Users are detailing their shock, giving condolences, and honoring the memory of the singer with one fan stating, “ May he rest against the sunset #RIPBSMYTH.”

Brandon Smith, better known as B. Smyth rose to fame in 2012 securing a record with Future and a deal with Motown. B. Smyth is known for his hits, “Twerkaholic” and “ Win Win.”
