A night of Zen for some students as Omarion visits TSU. In an effort to promote his new book, Unbothered.
Unbothered: The Power of Choosing Joy is a self-help book that allows readers to take a peek into Omarion’s life.
It also gives an inside look into his journey to spiritual freedom.
Omarion said, “Far too often in my journey I never had anyone that would be like “Yo, you need to slow down,” or ” Just take a beat for yourself,” and how productive that would have been on my journey?”
The Office of First Year Students-sponsored event engaged students in a talk-back and a sound bath meditation session.

Additionally, students received a free copy of Omarion’s book.
TSU Freshman, Kayla McKinnie said, “I didn’t expect to get a book but I was reading through it a little bit and I can relate to it because I am [kind of] going through the same spiritual journey.”
Afterwards, Omarion met with students in attendance and took pictures with them.
